Stuart and Beth will be leaving shortly on a three-week trip to Hungary & Romania. Our heart desire is to fulfill our part in the mission Jesus Christ gave to His church–to go and make disciples of all the nations. We have the privilege to serve with those who share that desire and vision–especially to help strengthen the ministries of those in Eastern Europe who are serving and equipping churches. We still have much to do to prepare to leave in about a week’s time. As you are able to pray for us, please remember those to whom we are going–both in planned meetings–and unexpected encounters. Please pray that our testimony and witness will be compassionate and clear with those who do not know the Lord and that we may be able to encourage and strengthen brethren in their own walk with Jesus Christ. And that the Holy Spirit would be at work, opening minds and hearts to understand and believe, to trust and follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
We may also include a trip to see a friend in ministry in Slovakia. The purpose of this trip is to explore, and where appropriate put together, partnership agreements with national ministries who would like to work together with 4D in their own established activities or in undertaking particular projects. We are also planning to make advance preparations for a longer period of resident service in Transylvania from September to December.
