We’re spending most of our ministry time in our own churches, applying our own ministry models and usually thinking that this is the best for us. Last week we’ve traveled with a group of key leaders to Arad, to visit and meet another church for the simple reason of interacting and changing experience. This was very welcomed by our leaders and they really enjoyed this exposure. We had the opportunity to see beyond our church “walls” and meet coworkers in the same field, struggling with the same issues.
We participated in one of their youth meetings and liked what we’ve seen, being encouraged and determined to initiate some changes once we get back home. Also, we returned the invitation and decided to do this more often in the future.
